I am ashamed to admit that when it comes to history and politics I am ignorant. In fact I am ignorant to many things in this world. With that in mind, I do not intend to preach or impart any wisdom in this post because I am ill equipped to speak in depth about things that I do not know enough about. This weekend marks the anniversary of the start of World War One. Last week I was looking at black and white photographs of my Grandfather in the Second World War. I have been thinking a lot about war. The saddest thing is that Im not thinking in a nostalgic sense,I am thinking of the violence and bloodshed that is happening right now,today,all these years later. I cry when I watch the news. I cannot get my head around the way this world works. The level of suffering innocent men,women and children are enduring is beyond my comprehension. I sit here writing this in the comfort and safety of my rented house,typing on my smart phone,with food in the oven for dinner. My family are safe and well and I see them regularly. I went to a state school and learnt things. If I get sick, a doctor will help me get better. I live in a country where I have the freedom to be who I want to,to dress how I like,to speak what I feel and believe in what I want to. I am blessed. For me,this simple song cuts to the core of what is important to every human being and I wanted to share it with you. Thank you. Love Vigilantes. New Order
