I am back on track with eating healthy as after being away for 10 days I had got into a habit of eating white carbs (mainly bread and potatoes). I was feeling lethargic, stodgy and was beginning to look soft and squidgy like the bread I had been eating!!! When you eat unhealthy carbs your body tells you to eat more and more because they are nutrient deficient and the body needs regular nutrients in the right balance to be healthy. After a week of 2 soy protein meals a day (porridge shake for breakfast and shake for lunch) and a healthy colourful meal for dinner I look and feel so much better. Within the first 48 hours my energy returned to a 10/10 and after a week my squidgy bits have gone. I no longer crave carbs because I am getting all the right nutrients - all is right with my world again!!
