I am becoming a hypercritical pessimist - when I heard we would have our financial rating downgraded if the stuff Obama wants isnt passed (cause that is the only way they can get anything passed) my first thought was how much did they have to pay or promise to get THAT done? At this point I am going to say something so radically politically wrong I will fully expect a few certain people to reach through the phone and slap me - here goes: Maybe we SHOULD be downgraded so all the politicians will lose a lot of THEIR money - in fact maybe it is time for us to start over or let someone else mind the store - because from where I am sitting Americans are NOT doing a good job and maybe we would be better off if someone took over - not able to think of any group I would rather have but some are beginning to tie what we currently have. I do NOT feel like the American government is MY government or even that they represent ME it is now a bunch of spoiled brats playing chicken with the American people as the innocent bystanders that are just collateral damage. Different definitions of govern use words like lead, administer, public policy heres a great bunch of words strung together to rule without sovereign power and usually without having the authority to determine basic policy NONE of that sounds like the bozos playing at giving a damn about ME, the REST OF AMERICA or any aspect of OUR COUNTRY! Just tired of the posturing!
