I am born and raised in GL and lived there until I enlisted in the Army and moved away. I joined this group to keep up on my beloved home town but alas I am done with this group site. I am a member on quite a few other similar groups that promote different towns and events that stick to the point of the group and the moderator actually monitors the page. If I scan the GL Community page it is riddled with people trying to sell items, posting about ebola, property management, employment, it just goes on and on. I’d guess maybe half of the posts are actually truly about the community. Then there are the people who troll the group and just attack every post. Which I am expecting many to do to mine. It is really sad to see and I am tired of seeing the crap pop up on my fb all the darn time. So regrettably I am done with this group.
