I am bragging now -- I made the best French toast (both tasty and presentation) that I have ever made, this morning. It was so good, because I had the very best ingredients -- Thanks to Raymond Mannila and Stephanie Harvey who told me that Lee Harris made-from-scratch Sweet Georgia Baking Co. white bread makes the best French toast. I had some on hand starting to get stale, some Koinonia eggs, organic whole milk, a little kosher sea salt and some fairly traded organic vanilla, I whipped those together and then soaked slices of bread in the egg mixture and put on a hot skillet with some Sparkmans butter melted in it. The French toast was just the perfect crispness on the outside and softness on the inside -- then I slathered more butter on it to melt and some organic maple syrup! David no longer wants his $2500 back nor does he want me to go back to the Philippines -- he wants me to make some more French toast!
