I am calling out every single person I met in my life from Asia, Africa, Middle East, North America, Europe, and South America to spread the word and to contribute to helping one another. Please take a look at this video below, close your eyes and reflect for one minute of what you have seen and ask yourself if you can do something about it. My class mates and I have started an initiative to send Humanitarian aid to Syrian Refugees. We are having an ongoing clothing drive. It is currently based at York University; you can drop off any clothes in decent condition in room 340 at the student centre. To be able to ship the clothes over sees we need to raise close to $6300. Even though it will not be an easy task to undertake but I believe we can do it. If you would like to donate and/or drop off clothes but you can’t bring them to York, please message me and we will figure something out. We can even use the donations to buy clothes on your behalf if you would like to contribute in that capacity. I encourage all of you to look around for someone in need and support them. You don’t have to only support this initiative because what we are doing is nothing comparing to the amount of people that are fighting to survive even here in Toronto. Our collective impact is what will change lives including ours. If you want to partner up with us as an organization, club or collective of individuals do not hesitate to Merate Atari We are only fulfilling a need. The more help and partnerships we can create the faster and better we can fulfill this need. Please Share this post as wide as you can.
