I am completely humbled and honored! Dear Shaniece, I wanted to write you this note to tell you how much I appreciated what you said at the panel discussion at Columbia today. It was so inspirational and empowering to hear you speak, and I am so grateful that I had the opportunity to hear you share your powerful story. I am very passionate about transgender justice, and it is absolutely an issue I want to pursue after I graduate (and potentially devote my professional career to).
