I am considering upgrading my machine. I am a new to sewing and quilting. I definitely want a free arm and a big throat for quilting. I am going back and forth between the Janome 8900 and the 9900. Has anyone here owned both? Any advice? The embroidery option is nice but I am not sure if I will use it that often. Of course, people also say the Bernina 750 is what I NEED to have. However, since I am so new, it is hard to justify the price. I have sewn on the Bernina and the Janome 8900.
