Unfortunately, a great opportunity was missed and a possible problem was created when your 1030 am news team today spoke about tomorrows congressional election. The young woman laughed about it and said no one ever turns up to vote for this election showing empty poll booths from the past. She also stated that There really was no reason too vote as the important issues where tabled to the November elections. Thank goodness the news man beside her spoke up, looking as surprised as I was, and offered quietly that there were some important things to vote for tomorrow. Your news woman basically approved and expressed to everyone watching that tomorrows vote was not important. This could not be further from the truth. Tomorrow is greatly needed to set us up for the best possible outcomes in November. Tomorrow we choose our possible Congress women or men and our Sheriffs & more. Henry Waxmen has served LA for 40 years! He is to be appreciated for his service as he steps down out of a 40 year service job. The fact that we currently have some incredible candidates in the running is important. We have an independent that is in the running with the best of them, Marianne Williamson, who is an excellent candidate. The people of La need to know this, must know who is running and know why they must vote tomorrow. This is what channel 11 could have ran. That would have been an important news story. Not what your news girl glibly laughed about and dismissed. Please, while you have time, correct this. Thank you for your consideration & time in this very important news story. Voting does matter and our news channels must support that and share that news not give Americans another reason to not get involved.
