I am definitely a picky eater & occasionally snobby about the food I buy. I buy mostly from myself at Picky Eaters Buying Club and the from local farmers at Lennys Market. If I need bananas or avocados or TP, I go to Winn Dixie. Today I looked at the WD circular for the first time in a month and NOW I see why Bi-Lo says there wont be many changes with the switchover....soda, white bread & heavily processed foods are featured. There is a local food feature...from an 8000 acre veggie farm that packs for Bolthouse. Whats my problem? How many of those food dollars impact a local economy? Green- wash! When I buy from Jerrod Brown or Mr Carpenter I know where theyre spending my money they earned. We can do better Americus! Dont you agree?
