I am extremely sad tonight I have no other outlet then to write on my Facebook. I was given the news tonight that a very dear friend of mine passed away. Joyce marshall was like a second mom to me while I was living in Mattoon Illinois and even after I moved back to Arizona. She was my mom my friend and my mentor. She was always there for me when I was home sick or when I was just having a bad day. We also shared a lot of great times together and we love to laugh and make fun of ourselves. She taught me how to believe in myself how not to sweat the small stuff. Which is what I teach my granddaughter. The love that I have for Joyce will live on forever and I know she loved me too. I will continue to grow into the woman she knew I could be, and I know when I walk in my graduation line she will be there with me telling me how proud she is of me. So Joyce your legacy will live on within me forever. Thank you Joyce for loving and caring so much for me. I have to stop crying now and say a prayer that God is taking care of you and please know that you are in my heart forever. I Love you Joyce Marshall (my second mom).
