I am faced with one of the most difficult decisions Ive ever had to make. My lab, yes, LABRADOR, has a very aggressive trait. He has attacked several other dogs and until recently, he hadnt drawn blood. He has drawn blood on another dog multiple times now & is even snipping at my first, oldest dog. Maddock has been very unusual since birth, so much that I asked the breeder if something happened to him at birth, i.e. deprived of oxygen, etc. I talked to vet & Ive been working on this interdog aggression but he does not seem to be getting better...or if he does, its not long before he shows us hes not better. Its literally like he blacks out, gets vicious, then comes to and thinks ohhh crappp I was just naughty wasnt I. It is so much harder to make that decision when its your own pet. Ill never be able to trust him & he will always be a liability. No reassurance can change this even though I want it to
