I am feeling both curious and analytical today. The bible abounds with men many of whom lived till 900 plus years. The bible makes us believe that Methuselah, the oldest man to have traversed this earth live till the ripe old age of 969. In my practice in pharmacy, I have had to come into contact with some very old people and empathised with them regarding the range of medication they have to comprehend with. Yes we live in an era where thanks to medical research and advances, various medicaments abound for the smallest of conditions. Considering that this biblical old man lived in an era where the was minimal healthcare provision, my question is how did he make it?
