I am flabbergasted. The same Senators and Congressman who encouraged the United States to go to war for 12 years, and are jumping the gun to get involved with some dispute with Russia on the Ukraine Crisis, does not want to follow through with their actions to support the veterans once they return home. We have already cut SNAP funding, and for your information, almost 1 million veterans rely on due to the lack of funding. In addition, Republicans continue to want more money for defense. Even though United States tops the world in defense spending, about $700 billion. Thats more than the next 13 countries combined. If anything, we should cut the defense spending to make room for this veterans bill and other things that need improvement such as healthcare (which United States ranks 46th in the world for health care efficiency) and education (which United States is ranked 17th in the world in 2012). Carry on, and sorry for the rant you guys.
