I am from Aroyo in South Sudan. Before I was abducted, I was married and had five children. The kidnappers came on foot. They found us in the bush, collecting firewood. I was taken with four other men and women. They forced us to walk to the North. On the way, they raped the women, and beat all of us when we refused to participate in the looting of other villages. I was beaten on my back with a burning stick. I still have a terrible burn scar on my back. Our journey lasted ten days. In the North, we were taken to different places.
