I am getting a little discouraged at the amount of posts I see saying he cannot be with other cats. Although he tested positive for FIV...he can be with other animals. It is species specific so the dog or family cant get it..and everything I have read states it is not easily spread to other cats even. The reason feral or outside cats get it is because they fight for food and bite or get bitten, therefor spreading the disease. This is do to be unaltered causing males to fight for territory as well as a food source. Please read the info that has been posted. He deserves a chance at a happy LONG life the same as any other cat. He is inside and being monitored for behavior and health right now. He will be neutered and needled along with having the financial support from Kerry Crouse and the spay a stray fund....and have the support of this entire group for help....he is friendly and I will post updates on his behavior so far Pat says he is friendly and has had no issues and will be seeing how he acts with her other cats this weekend...June M. Madeley has and FIV cat and I also had one (he passed from cancer not FIV issues) so we are here to answer questions, give advise and help when needed...Please consider giving him a home....he has been a street cat for a few years and was obviously someones pet and was abandoned, lets not abandon him again....look into his face and tell me he dose not deserve a family?
