I am getting ready to assemble my team for the fourth annual "Welcome Home Vietnam Veterans Day ". Its hard to believe that three successful events have been produced. Those tireless patriots from the VA Hospital are my heros, helping to make the event successful with their dedication and commitment. You are all invited, its always a free family event that celebrates Americas Finest from many different eras of the Military. A friend of mine Keni Thomas from "Black Hawk Down " will be pursued again to speak as well as a fellow I have been watching intently, Bowe Bergdahl our only current POW from Afghanistan. We hope and pray his release is forthcoming. Last year we had an outstanding car and motorcycle show which totaled almost 200 vehicles of all types. Great food, fantastic music, craft vendors, and a few ceremonies and speakers, short and to the point will all be assembled in May of 2014 for your pleasure. This year I would love to have a formation of F-14s bless the event along with a chopper or two. Stay tuned !
