I am getting so annoyed by peoples negativity when I say I moved from Canada back here. This happens to me almost on a daily basis. I am always met with the same responses...Are you mad? Why would you leave there to come here? Id never come back here if I lived there etc, etc,. I loved Canada, I had a great lifestyle there and I have no regrets about leaving. I had reasons for coming home. Yep, thats what it is..Home!! Where my family, my friends and my history are. It came to me like a light being switched on that this is where I was meant to be. Where I want to raise my kids, to be surrounded by their family and to have that support network for all of us. Yes, the chances of us making our fortune here are slim whereas in Canada they were more attainable. However, I am a very rich and privileged person. Not in monetary value. My wealth is in the family and friends I cherish and now cannot imagine being away from. My kids will know the value of that and not in material things. Since coming home it has become very apparent that I am here at the right time, being away from my family at this time would be unimaginable. So, please, if you do come across someone who has moved back after living abroad for a length of time, dont dismiss them as being aff their heid or having made a bad decision. Remember everyone has a story to tell. Sorry for the rant by the way :) xx
