I am going to put my two cents in on the passing of Fred Phelps. This man was a hate mongering vile person and their is no doubt of that. However doing unto his funeral as he did unto others is not turning the other cheek. Nor as the cliche goes two wrongs do not make right. Why stoop to his level? Why engage in that sort of debased vile character assassination? Because when we do that we are exposing the darkest most vile part of our childish tit for tat selves. Remember their will always be more people fighting for far more noble causes. Hate begets hate and the cycle will continue unless we rise above it.
