I am grateful for the night time routine I have with my 12 year old daughter. Usually it consists of 40 minutes of her telling me about her day. It might be about her math teacher, a funny conversation she had with her friends over lunch, or the new boy at school. I come home from a 12 to 14 hr day exhausted just wanting to call it a night... But listen to every word, try to feel every emotion, and be emotionally present inherent everyday life. I am grateful she allows me this opportunity. Then I think to myself.... If there is only one thing I do right I pray I give her everything she NEEDS. Material things will not make one complete. Love, Security, Patience, Time, and Truth are the things that have value in our home. I look at her and am mind blown at what an amazing spirit she is. Goodnight
