I am grateful to be an American woman, to have the right to vote and to have a voice and the strength to use it. I am grateful for my parents commitment to my education. They sent me to three years of boarding school and paid for two college degrees that I earned. They sent me to France to study and encouraged me to pursue my dreams. I am grateful for all of my teachers, past and present and for my detractors who often teach me more about myself than my friends. I am grateful for my intelligence and creative mind and for my bright blue eyes, big smile, and dutiful body. I am thankful for my intuitive nature and my faith which guide me on my journey...Happy Thanksgiving!
