I am happy that my intuition about todays Chiefs game was incorrect. I was wrong. The Chiefs fought the good fight and beat the Chargers handily. However, my intuition was not wrong in that because of the outcome of the Baltimore and Houston games, a playoff birth for the Chiefs is not to be this year. Given the schedule they had, the injuries the Chiefs sustained, they fought the good fight and have nothing to be ashamed of. It was a tough year and they played the way true professional always do, down to the wire giving it their all. It should also be noted that Chase Daniels did an excellent job coming in as the starting quarterback today. As an avid MU Tigers fan (everyone with any intelligence knows that MU is an academic giant compared to any other State University in Missouri and Kansas, :-) yep far superior to KU in every measurable and important aspect) and knowing that MU is a dominant football team in the Midwest limited only by their alleged head coach Gary Pinkl, it should be noted that Chase Daniels after his stellar career at MU and his play today as a starter, that he is much more than a back up quarterback and has the poise and talent to be a starter. I am very proud to be a Kansas City Chiefs fan, and look forward to next year, when Andy and the gang will put it together even better, continuing to show much improvement. Go Chiefs!
