I am happy to announce that Maira Staten will assume ownership of Rhythms Dance Fitness effective August 1st. Maira has been leading classes with us this summer and has been a great addition to the team. If you have attended one of her classes you can tell that dancing and Zumba are her passion. She is licensed in Zumba Fitness, Zumba Toning and Zumbatomic. Maira has so many exciting new things planned…monthly family fun days, glow parties, Zumba at City Lake, etc. I can’t wait to see and attend all the new events. Over the next few weeks I will help Maira as she transitions to assume operational responsibility. She will begin to take over my classes beginning this week. The current schedule will remain the same through August 1st. Kickboxing will remain on the schedule. The fall schedule is out and will be effective August 5th. We will also begin to transition our current Facebook page to a new Facebook page. It’s an exciting time with many positive and fun changes coming. This is bittersweet for me as I love to see all your smiling faces every day. Your not just my dancing buddies but a second family. Life has changed over the past months and I need to spend more time with my family. I have no doubt that you will continue to burn up the dance floor and work towards your goals. All of you have accomplished so much and I’m so proud of you! Don’t think you’re getting rid of me; I’ll still be attending classes…. I just get to shake it on the dance floor with you. I’ll still be yelling “Tight Tummies”! To all the instructors over the past year and Zumbaettes that have given us a try, supported us and gave up time with your families to help make a difference in someone’s life….Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart!
