I am healing faster than protocol for a grade 2 tear(most of what I know and have researched is a minimum of three weeks but I am doing everything I can, I rested about 4 days, used cold packs, chiropractic care, TENS, massage, light stretching, high rep sets 20-30 slow progression, microcurrent so I do praise God for the people He has placed in my life right now. The posterior scalenes muscle is much more painful as it tightens it pulls the cervical vertabrae out of live then I get referred pain in my right shoulder and right upper back which makes me tighten in the chest which pulls on that tear which is just below the clavicle near the sternum BUT i have learned my lesson no more low rep high weights. One of the chiropractors I see confirmed it even though he can rep 405 on the flat bench he does not go above 315# and prefers doing high reps with 225#. I am the same, you can build an impressive physique without heavy weights if you know how to do high intensity and can swallow your male ego!
