I am home with a raging kidney infection and trying to deal with the VA. Jack was taken the 29th by ambulance to the ER, gave him a shot for pain sent him home at 2 am in a taxi. This morning sent him again by ambulance to the ER and have been trying to get help from a patients advocate to keep him. He is down to 150 ;lbs, cannot eat, in constant pain and they keep sending him home. Finally got someone to help and his GI Dr. is taking charge and looks like he will be kept. I know he brought this on by his old lifestyle and some people have no sympathy for him but it doesnt mean he cant get help other than a pain shot. He has to go every 2-3 weeks to have the fluid drained because of the liver failing and has trouble breathing because of the pressure on his lungs. We as his parents will do whatever we can as he is our son regardless of what he did with his life choices. The only one he needs to answer to is God. Please find it in your heart to pray for some peace for him and also for us as it is very difficult to watch him deteriorate. Thanks
