I am in KL. There are by-elections at Teluk Intan and Bukit Gelugur, Penang. I have not heard or read a SINGLE stand being made by the contestants on: a) budget deficit b) gst c) education system d) the rise of neo-fascism in India and how the new PM (who was complicit in the killing of about 2000 people, mainly Muslims and causing 200000 people to be displaced due to bloodbath while he was the Chief Minister of Gujarat - according to Human Rights Watch report) and India would affect the already volatile region and South East Asia in general e) what does the 400 billion dollar Russia-China gas supply agreement would do to the region and the world f) hudud and our Constitution. Instead the issues thus far are: a) Dyana in a bikini b) Dyana is a traitor c) whether UiTM belongs to the Malays d) whether Dyanas mother had raised her properly e) whether the driver, owner or occupant of a car is responsible if somebody had jumped in front of that car while it moves causing injury to him Malaysia is however a great country. We have astronaut ya know? Well, a space cadet, maybe. Astronaut? Thats debatable.
