I am in a bit of a Dilema here. as a writer if any body wants to record one of your compositions and changes it for example change the lyrics and arrangement of the song they need to ask permission via the publishers in this case EMI. this has not happened. the question is do I get in touch with EMI and get this version pulled from the competition or do I close a blind eye bearing in mind if this has not been registered with the publishers I will probably not get any royalties. let me know what you would do in my position!
