I am in a dilemma. Texas Department of Health and Human Services requires me to apply for 30 jobs a week to keep my SNAP benefits. I only think I am going to need them one more month anyway for I am starting to get job interviews. The first week finding 30 jobs in my field was no problem, but now that number is dwindling and I cant find 30 jobs a week anymore. I have applied for about 120 positions even out of my field. I really hope they dont cut me off in November. Hopefully I will get a job in the next week or two. The other thing is I can spend all day at Workforce Solutions doing.... I dont know what?? They give credit for attending career fairs they hold but they are all for things like welders, maintenance workers, all stuff outside of my scope and why would I want to waste those employers time?
