I am in desperate need of connective help. I am currently working on an article about the history of Steam Punk as a sub-genre of fiction. I have tons of research and three well written paragraphs on its origins, its paterfamilias, Verne and Wells, and its birth as true subgenre in the mid-1980s. What I can’t seem to figure out is how to make it all relevant and interesting. No one wants to read a dry history lesson. I need suggestions. What kinds of questions do people have about Steam Punk, what are some misconceptions? Better yet, what do people think Steam Punk is? Maybe if I get a view on people perception of it or a good question to steer my writing, and finish this article.
