I am in many groups and because I am a book reviewer many of them are book/reading groups. Never in my time on Facebook have I see where an author much less a Freshman author disrespect a book (which means she disrespected another author) and disrespected the group and disrespected her readers and potential readers by saying that she was aware that her book had errors in it and she APPROVED the errors and the reader would just have to GET THROUGH them and she would fix it later. Basically she is saying that the quality of her work is NOT important to her nor are her readers. And the fact that she was calling members of the group names and telling them that she didnt care if they bought her book or not tells me that 1.) She is NOT a true author and 2.) She is only out to make a dollar (which she is only going to make from family and friends). Just like anywhere else this is a business for the authors, they feed their families and pay their bills off of us buying their babies. The fact that she bragged about giving away books and the fact that her editor was from the Philippines (which has nothing to do with nothing, I think she was trying to imply that they cant spell) makes me further know that even if she melted down her book and poured it over me I would not read anything that she has to write. She blames the errors on the fact that she wrote the book when she was younger but she is 31 now but from her conversation in the group makes me throughly disgusted in her education or lack there of. Grow up, start over at McDonalds (not mine) and try TO GET IT RIGHT THIS TIME!
