I am interested in feedback from artists/ artisan / makers in daylesford & surrounding areas , and also those interested in supporting the local creative community --- any feedback/ discussion is great , for as you may know , the closure of door3 leaves us without access to studios, facilities , exhibition & performance space , the outlet to share our work & gather --- the small seed of hope that has emerged from this , is that council are open to helping us, as I think they finally recognise the value of what weve been trying to create on volunteer energy & very little $ - --so , we will see - and so some viability questions - how much $ would artists/ makers realistically pay for studio space if they dont have ? obviously size dependant - any medium, metal, clay, wood.. just an idea - would you benefit from shared workshop/equipment ? how much would you pay per week realistic to share outlet - gallery for your work ? and how many people would in the broader community would become patrons of an artspace - friends of ? with a yearly donation ? .... any feedback is appreciated , thanks x
