I am just Fed up. Here is a requirement given by ObaninationCare to licensed Insurance Agent! They must now offer as a duty, to assist clients to register to vote. WTF. So they reduce the Commissions on plans, they require materials be printed in 20 different languages on Websites....Now require Gents to offer assistance with voter registration with NO COMPENSATION. All of you out there that think this is a good deal...what say you go to work tomorrow for nothing! I am telling them to shove it tomorrow! I tried to call Covered California this week and I was number 58 in the que. One day the plan is NOT TO HAVE AGENTS! Under Federal and State law Certified Insurance Agents are required to offer Covered California consumers assistance with registering to vote. This requirement is also included in the Agent Agreement (Exhibit A, Section C (7)). In order to assist agents with fulfilling this requirement, Covered California has developed Voter Registration Training which is mandatory for all Certified Insurance Agents. Agents will need to review the Voter Registration Training presentation then electronically sign a certificate of completion via DocuSign. In addition, Covered California has developed two task guides which include protocols for Voter Registration and step-by-step instructions for managing this task. The task guides should be reviewed and may be printed or saved for future reference. You can access the Voter Registration Training materials by clicking the “view documents” button below. The training will take less than 10 minutes to complete and download the reference documents. Once you complete the Voter Registration Training, electronically sign the Certificate of Completion to return to Covered California. Please complete Voter Registration Training and sign and submit the Certificate of Completion by Monday, November 15, 2014.
