I am just amazed at what our community is! We say that we are supporting our community and we would do anything to support it? I look at what other cities are doing and I feel like hmm? Are we really a community? we seem to fight amongst our selves, we do not work together as bars and bar owners. I see talent in the other cities that is just incredible, so i investigated and i found out that people do and can put personnel issues aside, and work together to make a better community.I watch pageants and watch the entertainers we have here in Oklahoma and I am almost embarrassed on what i see, Not totally, because we do have a few that know what true entertainment is and beauty that goes with it. Just because your are pretty does not mean that you will make it. You have to know how to entertain too. I feel like that we are falling behind and that makes me sad. I know there will be people that will read me for this post but that is okay, I want what is best for us all, not just what is best for you, We have enough divas already.... I know no one wants to entertain for free but sometimes we have to give before we take. I know that money means a lot to everyone and it cost a lot to do what you do, but with what said, we all have seen lately that we do not have to go to a gay bar to have fun, we can know go anywhere, so what do we as a community here in Oklahoma city in the Gay District? We need to start supporting the pageants and the bars that are trying to give us a great entertaining show and that will keep us together as a community. Every one is experiencing hard ship, stop blaming the bar owners of not paying as much as you think, be glad that you have a opportunity to do what you enjoy. In the long run it will make you the best you ever thought you could be. I Love and respect each and everyone of you, I have made some wonderful friends and some great entertainers, I want what is best for you too.
