I am just drippin with Spring! But it was worth it! A handful of fisherman were out but I was the only set of wheels on the D&L. My timing was just right. Pickle Dog was serving breakfast sandwiches today! I headed north and got as far as I did last weekend before hitting the ice again. Larry Schaedel tried his luck with a few laps on the IRT, then met me for lunch at Sals after he got rained out. After, I figured Id take a quickie on the Slate Trail to finish the day. I was already wet any way. At least no one saw me riding a bike with a kickstand so I can still show my face around the trails. That old bike was tougher to pedal than I remember. When I hit the soft ground and wind at the nature center my thumb started searching for the downshift lever. The big news: Pickle Dog is now serving PULLED PORK BBQ sandwiches! I got to taste a sample and it is good!
