I am letting my friends know first so that you have first opportunity, as I know a few of you have asked me about this colt previously. We have made the difficult decision to offer Arawa Sirocco 3 year old colt (rising 4) for sale. (The photo below is as a 2 yr old). His sire is Gwenllan Samson who is by Gwenllan Sam and out of Gwenllan Sali. His dam is Northwick Nina (sadly deceased) who was by Northwick Crusader and out of Gerrig Wendy. Squid is an awesome, powerful mover and uses his hocks and hind quarters in a way that is highly desired, but rarely seen. He is very well handled and has an excellent temperament with no vices. He lives in or out and has been turned out with another colt and next to other horses, so is used to company. He will make 14.2hh. He has plenty of bone and excellent conformation. He has no lumps or bumps. Is totally unspoilt. Comes as soon as he sees you walking towards the field. He leads on two fingers whilst dancing at the side of you past any other horses - he is easy to handle. He loads well. He will stand all day to be groomed, primped, polished, washed and trimmed. He is excellent with his feet to be picked up, out and trimmed. He is an exceptional colt and really has the look at me factor. This colt is super to have around and easy to do, but make no mistake he has all the ingredients of a showing machine. He is totally unspoiled.
