I am listening at the moment to a Radio broadcast of Private Passions where Kate Gross, (who I dont think I had known about before), is talking to Michael Berkeley and listening to her favourite music. She passed inter her new life on Christmas Day and her relatives and friends have my thoughts and prayers. As Christians we have faith in the Lord and our eternal life in him, but all the same, death is still a mystery that bowls us over when we think of it. The thought of a lovely lady with a husband and young family being alive and yet struck down by cancer, and now no longer being with us, boggles the mind, or at least mine. A lovely creation more valuable than something like an ancient priceless Ming vase, now materially no longer in existence except for her earthly remains somewhere. Thank goodness for our Christian hope of eternal life and that Kate and all whom we love, but who have passed on, are still in their true essences in existence with the Lord, where we also are destined. Memory eternal to Kate, who in her short life has clearly done a lot of good.
