I am living in Ghana, one country away from Ebola stricken Guinea and Liberia. Yet, I have no concerns about contracting the disease. I am frustrated with some of my ignorant friends on FB calling for schools to be closed, flights from Africa banned, or refusal to attend study abroad trips to non-Ebola infected countries in Africa. I wont argue with ignorant people - it is futile. But please consider a few things before posting - Africa is a continent larger than North America, not a country. 2nd, your chances of contracting Ebola are slimmer than getting bit by a shark, which is already near impossible if you live in the Midwest. My prayers are for healing for my brothers and sisters with the disease and clarity of thought for my brothers and sisters offering their opinion of this disease.
