I am loading a trailer to take to CO in two weeks if anyone would like to donate items for my friends who lost their house on the Greeley flood. Below is a list of items they will need: Items needed for Tommy, Nicole, Weston and Sydney Meyer Their house was swept away by the recent flood and they were able to evacuate the horses, cows, chickens and cats and dogs. They were not able to evacuate the household. They did not have flood insurance so the contents of the house and house is not covered. We are looking into aid to help them rebuild but it will be a long process. We know there are families in need all over Colorado and thankful that we are in the position to assist. We thank all of you from the bottom of our hearts for generosity already received and offers of assistance. For right now the family, horses, cattle, dogs and cats are at: Andrea and Tads at 29950 CR 55, Greeley Co. ( North of Kersey and South of Gill) Only accessible by 8th St east from Hwy 85 or Greeley) Below is a list of items needed to care for the family and animals as they rebuild their future if you are able and want to help. Winter Coat- Size 6-8 Winter Boots- Size 13 Hats, Mittens Weston is size 9 and needs items for this winter: His immediate clothing needs have already been replaced by very generous families and he made sure he got all football equipment out of the house and in the car. Winter Coat- Size 9 Winter Boots- Size 4 to 4.5 Hats and Mittens Nicole wears L Shirts and 14 pants and only left with a pair of sweats and scrubs thinking this may be a short term evacuation. She needs: Stethoscope for nursing Winter Coat- Size L Winter Boots- Size 9 Hats, mittens, scarves Shirts- L Sweats Scrubs for Work (Coy brand)- L Dogs- Iams or any brand dog food- kennel for future move. Theirs was swept away. Cats- Science Diet or any brand cat food, Kitty Litter and another cat litter box Horses- Hay, Equine Senior, Salt Blocks or any feed – All the pasture is under water for now and it will be some time before the road in front of their home and fencing can be repaired. Hay Feeder, Feed Pans, Buckets Horse Blankets for the 2 elderly horses would be very appreciated. Their shelters are gone and they are safe for now but will need some extra care to get through the winter. Any supplies for the aid in horse care. They got the saddles and halters and horses but lost all extras. Cows- Hay , Straw, Corn Stalk Bails , Any cow feed Chickens are at a Neighbors and will need Chicken feed and a new Coop. Extra Panels and Fencing Materials will be needed down the road. House hold items needed: Gift Cards or: A Twin or Full Bed Queen or King Bed Mattress Pad, Sheets, Blankets or Comforters Any appliances All Kitchen items- Any Furniture items Towels, washcloths
