I am looking for “Store Manager” with one of the leading footwear company at Mumbai. Designation – Store Manager Education – Graduate Post-graduation/MBA would be an additional weightage. Experience – 1. 4- 9 years of Retail Experience 2. Experience in footwear industry is preferable Roles & Responsibilities – Target achievement Sales and bottom-line profits of the store. Manage store revenue, including cash handling, deposit reconciliation and delivery of deposits to bank. Resolve customer problems or complaints by determining optimal solutions. Provide exceptional customer service and ensure the employees also provide the same level of service. Ensure repeat business by ensuring client delight Maximizing customer satisfaction matrices by providing pre & post sale assistance and achieving delivery and quality norms Ensure Sales and Customer service go hand in hand Team Management Recruit, hire, train, evaluate and counsel store employees. Maintain, encourage and possess “ownership mentality”. Develop and implement employee performance evaluations and improvement plans. Effectively manage employee turnover. Provide a positive working environment and handle employee issues appropriately and in a timely manner. Encourage store employees to take ownership for their performance and career development plans; follow up on a regular basis. Share feedback to be reported on a regular basis and direct their performance to ensure growth Store Operations Responsible for preparation of work schedules. Execute and monitor loss prevention and shrink programs. Management of all store operational issues, to include store housekeeping, store administrative duties, physical inventories, price changes, etc. Communicate, execute, and manage marketing and merchandising programs. Conduct regular store meetings. Maintenance of a high-end store Image. Preparing MIS Reports to provide feedback to top management on business operations and assist in the critical decision-making process. Maintain adequate store supplies. Ensure interior and exterior of store is maintained to company standards Stock Management - keep pilferage under control Ensure the store functions as per the store operating procedures Marketing / Product Management: Developing & executing effective marketing plans, to achieve profit objectives. Managing sales & marketing operations implementing sales promotional activities as a part of product launch, brand building and market development effort. Analyzing marketing trends and tracking competitors’ activities and providing valuable inputs for product enhancement and fine tuning sales & marketing strategies. Skillsets Good written and verbal communication Passionate towards sales and customer service Strong leadership skills. Ability to effectively teach/develop others to next level.
