We have a large number of interesting Java projects for Allianz business units around the world. If you have experience leading a group of Java developers and making sure they deliver quality results, then we need you. A competitive salary package is offered and a Thai work permit can be organised for the right candidate. Responsibilities: Ensuring project work is delivered on time and to a high level of quality. Leading a group of experienced Java developers. Working with Project Managers to organise and execute project plans. Assigning and monitoring work within your team. Setting objectives, mentoring and providing feedback for your team. Involved in the entire Software Development Lifecycle. Expected to personally contribute to the development effort. Reporting to the Head of Software Development. Experience and qualifications required: At least 5 years’ Java development experience. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent. Oracle/Sun Java certifications beneficial. Experience in Java frameworks, tools and programming languages such as Spring, Hibernate, Apache CXF, Groovy, JMS, J2EE etc. Understanding of concurrency and performance tuning. Experience of web development using HTML, Javascript, JQuery, AngularJS etc. Good understanding of RDBMS and SQL. Ability to lead a team of experienced developers. Excellent English ability. Ability to write good quality documentation and reports. Very good communication and problem solving abilities.
