I am looking to re-home my 2 year old pet silky rooster, Phil. He does not like his kind at all including, hens. So I am looking for someone that just wants him as a pet and would like to have the crowing of a rooster on the property. He is very friendly, but can act like your typically rooster and circle you to claim you as his territory. I will not let him go to someone who does not have a proper place to keep him. I love this bird as funny as that may sound, being he is a rooster. I brought him in several times last winter and put him in the basement in a dog kennel due to be worried about him getting too cold. So you can understand why I want to see him go to the perfect home. My husband and I do not have the time for the outside animals any longer, since our daughter was born so we feel it is only right to re-home them if we can find them better.
