I am moving in slow motion today, basking in the cool day and burning some Clamshell Tarts. This one is sweet and fruity blend and I love the undertones of Peach. I love working with wax and experimenting with scents! I have found the one job that is totally rewarding for me and I am happy! I made some interesting soap yesterday that was a total surprise how it turned out when I unmolded it this morning. I blended lemon powder and Calendula tea and added Calendula petals in the end. The combination turned the soap a very bright orangy yellow that had brown specks! It smells like lemon, calendula flowers and lemongrass and has lovely oils and butters for the skin. I wanted a natural soap without any artificial color and I sure got it! The Calendula tea is very orange and the ground lemon rind seems to be also.
