I am no biologist, or a astronomer but it makes no sense to me why scientists, who are looking for alien life, limit themselves to just planets with water. I know its is necessary for all life on Earth. But the life signs we are looking for would be well alien and new. Who knows maybe life can exist in a odd configuration of other elements besides the ones we are familiar with. Am I missing something?
