I am no exception to the racial stereotype, and as such I have also looked upon someone with a preconceived vision on who I figured them to be, biased and judgmental, as hard as I try not to be, I can at times be racist, homophobic, gender biased, and hateful based on how a person looks as opposed to who they are.... things like this inspire me to remember that everybody isnt this way. I am on a life long pursuit to being better then the man I am today. My family and friends around me have had a huge impact on who I have become. There is no place for racism, let alone hate of any kind in our world today. When you focus your energy on trying to find the good in people, then hate has a hard time finding its way in..... now if I can only find a way to live by these words
