I am normally okay with words, but I am not able to say this well. My biological father David Silk passed away today. He worked on the mines and the railroads, he drank white port and smoked a pipe, he told stories about dragons outwitted by princesses and goats in hot air balloons. He was a kinder, gentler, more decent man than many - much more than me - and he actually really was loved by everyone who knew him. I am grateful for what we had.
