I am not a happy momma this morning. Yes, we did make the decision to move up a hill and yes my kids are drivers and yes the hill, we moved on is a private drive so although everyone on the hill helps to clear the drive, we get no help from any road crews or the township. And I love my school district but I am not sure what the heck they were thinking today. Keep our kids, bus drivers and teachers safe. Even if they would have delayed us one or two hours, it sure would have helped! Josh said the roads were awlful and Kelseys car barely made it out of the driveway. I would have made them go together but Kelsey has college classes throughout the day. I did called the school to let them know Kelsey maybe late because of the snowy drive and was told that she may not be excused for it. Hello?! This is crazy. They both made it safe but I dont like them being at risk. I am sure there is a bus they could have road but we never see it run so we would have no clue when to expect it. On a day like today, if you arent going to make a good decision and delay them then dont punish the kids and parents that did make a good decision for their families. SMH!
