I am not a romantic. Its not in my nature. I spent the majority of my 20s falling for the wrong people and wasting time, so it takes a lot from another person to turn my head. Its too distracting to get caught up in such things, so I find it more logical to do without. This does not mean that Im without emotion, or occasional amorous intentions that are easily dismissed or buried by the subject of my fluttering eyelashes or my own hand. I am not competitive in the matters of the heart. Nor am I in need of that validation. That said, its like arrows through the heart to be so easily forgotten. However, if theres any value to what Ive experienced in life this far, its that the show always goes on.
