Today an imbecile Republican brazenly stated that poor people are lazy. The depth of elitist garbage that is embedded in him, and many like him, is unfathomable. There is not enough time or money in the world to convince these sorry excuses for humans that in the USA, every person is supposed to be valuable. It soothes their collective selfish consciences to blame unemployed people without healthcare as having made the wrong choices. As if they made a choice to be born in a supportive home with a roof and food and opportunity for college. The sense of entitlement is embarrassing--except to those who should be embarrassed.
