I am not suggesting that you run out and eat bunch of protein. Meals and snacks should still be balanced with predominantly plants AND there should be a protein/ healthy fat at each meal and snack. Otherwise you are going to continue to be hungry. The best example is cereal and milk at breakfast - this is too small of a breakfast and it does not contain enough protein (and healthy fat is absent) to balance out the meal. You may continue to be hungry through the morning OR you may get intense hunger into the afternoon - either way, lack of calories, protein and a healthy fat at breakfast is the culprit. If you want a whole grain pancake or waffle (hopefully made from scratch with healthy ingredients) add 1 T almond butter (in place of butter) + 2/3 cup raspberries and a small drizzle of real maple syrup. pda.sciencealert.au/news/20130711-24992.html
