I am not trying to cause trouble or Dharma debate, condemn, or step on toes by writing and talking about the relative validity of a personal me and you. It is actually quite necessary for someone or other to talk about the relative reality and even validity of a personal me or you as being completely compatible with Non-Duality, because we hear so much talk about Non-Duality that constantly denies it and tries to suppress it. True Non-Dual insight and clarity certainly sees beyond the me and the you. It transcends it and sees that we are not MERELY or EXCLUSIVELY that. But it does not need to utterly obliterate it or deny its validity entirely. The poor little me and you, the personal self, needs an occasional public service announcement! So many are picking on it and trash talking it that it needs an advocate! It is not the evil monster it is often made out to be. It is not the enemy. It is actually a big part of what gives life its spice. Imagine a world where everyone begins to gradually lose their individuality. Such a world would become very grey and flat indeed. Such a world would be more like a zombie apocalypse than a renaissance of awakening!
